  1. An Italian scientist (d'Andrea) announced last July 27th 2011 that they had discovered St Philip's tomb in Hierapolis (near Denizli) in an ancient church just unearthed. Is it still closed to visitors? As Sunday's reading gives us Thomas in his wanting to see and touch the Lord's wounds in his unbelief, St. Philip's question to Jesus during the Last Supper, why don't you just let us see the Father? leads us into the Trinitarian mystery in Jesus' reply, 'If you have seen me, then you have seen the Father' ...Have a blessed and wondrous day and enjoy the "pools" and cotton castle natural wonder!
